Wakesurfing is a water sport in which a rider follows the boat, riding the wave created by the boat, without being pulled directly by the boat.
It is a relatively new sport that evolved from wakeboarding.
The start is done by holding a rope 2-3 meters behind the boat and the goal is to let go of the rope and continue behind the boat.
Previous familiarity with water is a prerequisite to start learning.
At the Nea Roda Water Sports Centre we have a special boat for this sport, a Super Air Nautique of Correct Craft with built-in water tanks which, when full, make the boat sit deeper in the water and thus create a huge wake, ideal for this sport.
The capacity of the boat is 10 people, so the whole group can have fun changing at will.
