The Nea Roda Water Sports Centre since 2002 is also a member of the International Group of Water Sports Schools ( WWS & WWC e.V. ). http:\/\/www.wws-wwc.de\/<\/a> So the trainees in our school can after written and practical exams get a diploma in one of the taught sports ( Windsurfing , Sailing ). The diplomas are of various levels, according to the standards of WWS & WWC e.V. as well as a coach's diploma of the above sports, thus acquiring the possibility to work in various centers and schools of water sports in Greece and abroad.<\/p>

They can also be trained as water ski coaches and as leasers of water sports recreational equipment.<\/p>

To work in Greece the diplomas must be recognized by the Greek state, according to the legal procedures, before the General Secretariat of Sports. http:\/\/gga.gov.gr<\/a><\/p>

Professional rights and authorisation are granted, in accordance with the legislation in force, exclusively by the competent public authorities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Levels:<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Assistant Coach.<\/strong>(May drive the boat and pull beginner and intermediate free-skiers. May also pull banana, and all the inflatables.)<\/li><\/ol>

    B<\/strong> I<\/strong>. Coach. (<\/strong>It can pull skiers, beginners, advanced skiers, and those who do high level skiing in slalom course and figures. It can also pull a banana, a parasail and a parachute.)<\/p>

    B II.\u00a0Coach<\/strong>. (It can draw skiers, beginners, advanced skiers, and those who do high level skiing in slalomcourse, figures and jumping. He can also pull bananas, all the inflatables and parachute, work as a coach in a sports club and open a water skiing business.)<\/p>

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Assistant Coach<\/strong><\/li>
    2. Hold a speed boat driving licence.<\/li>
    3. Know how to swim well.<\/li>
    4. Be able to dive without diving equipment to a depth of at least 5 metres and to tow an object from the bottom.<\/li>
    5. Have knowledge of lifesaving<\/li>
    6. To know single skiing, Wakeboard (basically)<\/li><\/ol>

      \u0392 I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Coach<\/strong><\/p>

      1. Like A<\/li>

      5. He must be able to pass 3 buoys on the slalom course with a speed of 49 km\/h and a rope of 18.25 m.<\/li>
      6. Know Wakeboard at least slalom and jump to pass the 2 wakes of the board.<\/li><\/ol>

        1. Be able to pass 6 buoys on the slalom course with a speed of 55 km\/h and a rope of 18.25 m.<\/li>
        2. Know wakeboard at least slalom, jump and 180\u00ba<\/li>
        3. Know barefoot at least on the bar<\/li>
        4. Know the international racing regulations.<\/li>
